Where it breaks
A phrase that sounds confident in English becomes stiff in German, apologetic in French, and oddly formal in Ukrainian. The words are right and the person behind them has disappeared.
What we do about it
Each language gets its own pass, not a rendering of the English. The argument stays; the sentences are rebuilt.
